Define the postcodes you cover and your availability. Learners in your zone trigger alerts.
Step 3: Get notified instantly
When a learner books in your area, you receive a push notification with course details.
Step 4: Accept and teach
Pay the small lead fee to claim the learner. Contact them, schedule lessons, and earn at your rate.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a driving school franchise?
No. National Instructors is a pay-as-you-go lead platform. There is no franchise fee, no branded car requirement, no territory lock-in, and no monthly subscription. You remain fully independent.
Who can join the platform?
DVSA-approved ADIs (Green Badge) and PDIs (Pink Badge) can register. We verify your badge before you can accept learners. Trainees not yet on the DVSA register can apply for guidance on qualifying.
How much does it cost per learner?
A small fixed lead fee per learner claim is deducted from your instructor wallet when you accept a job. There are no other platform fees on your lesson income.
Is the lead fee refundable?
Yes. If you are matched with a learner who does not proceed, does not respond, or the booking does not go ahead, your claim fee is fully refunded to your wallet.
How do I receive new learner requests?
You receive push notifications on your phone as soon as a learner requests an instructor in your coverage area. Open the instructor dashboard to view details and accept.
Do I have to accept every learner?
No. You review each request — transmission type, hours, experience level, location — and accept only the jobs that suit your diary and teaching style.
Can PDIs join before passing Part 3?
Yes. PDIs with a valid Pink Badge are welcome to apply. You must hold current DVSA registration to accept learners on the platform.
How is this different from a traditional driving school?
Traditional schools often require franchise fees, branded vehicles, and fixed territories. National Instructors simply connects verified ADIs with local learners — you keep control of your business.
